      We believe Layperson’s Bible School is the school for you! There is a definite need to take the gospel with power and authority to the people.  I firmly believe that through the sound biblical teaching offered in all of the Layperson’s Bible School programs and through the ministerial training offered in Layperson’s III, students will become well-equipped to do the work of the local church and the ministry.

      I would like to speak specifically to prospective Layperson’s III students. In Luke 4:1, Jesus was led into the wilderness for a time of study, prayer and preparation.  In verse 14, He came out in the power of the Spirit.  Preparation time is not lost time.   In fact, an individual’s success in life and in ministry depends on how much effort is placed upon preparation.  Like Jesus, when you submit to a time of preparation, you too can come out in the power of the Spirit!

      We seek to contribute to the development of our students in the areas of Christian character, Biblical understanding, and practical wisdom.  Through a systematic and practical study of the Bible, students are equipped to serve God and minister to the needs of others.  In our programs, we bring balance to both sides of ministry – the spiritual and the practical.

      "Touching the World" is a powerful part of the Vision God Gave to Bishop Butler for the efforts of Word of Faith Church.  Many students, pastors and church members in many parts of Africa, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Bulgaria and Canada have been and are being made better because of the line upon line teaching put forth by Word of Faith. The Word works!  We teach people to know the Word and apply it to their lives.
