Administration for Evangelism & Mission Leaders
Organized, efficient administrative processes are an essential foundation for a successful ministry. This basic administration class is designed to teach students how to structure, plan, and implement a ministry/mission organization. Teaching will include financial planning, budgeting, raising funds, establishing legal entities, and more.
Introduction to Missions
This class will introduce students to ministering on the mission field, including what the Bible says about missions. Different types of work available around the world will be discussed. Through this class, students will begin their journey into the exciting world of domestic and international missions.
The Ministry of the Itinerant Evangelist
This class will teach students the biblical purpose of the evangelist, in addition to the importance of accountability and ministerial ethnics for the itinerant evangelist. How to schedule meetings, how to minister in various denominations, and how to handle financial matters such as, honorariums, traveling expenses, and donations will also be covered in this class.
Preparing and Starting Your Mission Work
Detailed planning is a key to success in mission work. In this class, students will plan a mission trip including writing a step-by-step approach on how to start and implement a church/ministry on the mission field. Topics covered include: finding resources, recruiting volunteers, raising support and working within governmental systems.
Cross-Cultural Ministry
This class will bring students insight into various cultures and world religions. It will explain how to minister and operate in foreign countries, and how to fit into other cultural settings. Included in the teaching will be how to work with interpreters, challenges of language barriers, cultural behaviors, etc.
The Art of Soul Winning
This class will walk students through biblical methods of talking to others about Jesus and how to lead individuals of diverse backgrounds in the prayer of salvation. The class will include cultural issues one needs to understand in order to effectively witness in one’s community and abroad.
The Work of Holy Spirit
Understanding the operations of Holy Spirit is essential for ministers to effectively and efficiently fulfill the call of God on their lives. As a traveling minister, Holy Spirit is your protector and guide as you face the unknown. This class will provide in-depth teaching of how Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit operate in ministry.
The Messenger, The Message & The People
This class will guide students through the book of Acts, as a blueprint to biblical missions. Lecture topics will include the challenges faced by the apostles in their ministry and mission work. Students will learn how to interpret and translate the apostles’ methods and principles into current times.
Prayer Life of a Missionary
Prayer is the foundation for all we do on this earth. Through prayer, God’s people come to understand His plan, His power, His love, His peace and more. This life changing class will help students understand the importance of effective prayer while on the mission field.
Demonology
Jesus is Lord and has given His people victory in all aspects of life. Understanding that there is an enemy and how to deal with him is crucial, especially for a traveling minister going into unknown lands and environments. This class will enlighten students on how demons operate and how through the believer’s authority spiritual warfare is won.
