Word of Faith International Christian Center provides ministry and activities specifically designed to meet the spiritual needs of those who require special accommodations. Our current emphases are people who are Deaf and those with diminished hearing capabilities – we lovingly call “Hearing Eyes.” Our plans include expanding services to accommodate those who are blind or otherwise challenged. We desire all members to participate in, and benefit from our worship services.
Our Focus is to remove barriers of accessibility in three areas:
- Architecture
- Communication
- Attitudes
Sign language services provided:
- Sunday Worship Service - 8:30 a.m. (interpreted only)
- Sunday Worship Service - 11:00 a.m. (interpreted & real-time captioning)
- Wednesday Worship service - 7:00 p.m. (interpreted & real-time captioning)

Sign Language Only Bible Study “Faith Group”

Hands In Service (HIS) Helps positions:
- Note takers (formal training twice each year, hand-on training 3-12 mos.)
- Interpreter/Signers (must pass video-taped skill assessment offered twice each year)
- In-house closed captioning (special qualifications and service required)
- Real-time captioning (must be a qualified court reporter)
